So I think overall it's a pretty nice shirt, but I'm confused as to why the squid is on there, as the title of the blog indicates...

Because the shirt would be incomplete without the giant squid. Oh, and the giant squid needs somewhere to be, too. Where else would he go? On the Hooray for semi-cryptozoological animals shirt? I think not.
