Is there music you like that other people hate?

People hate Owl City but it's not that terrible. I wouldn't call myself a fan but some act like it's an audiotape of Michael Vick's dog daycare.

Xiu Xiu. It's really depressing and very experimental and there is rarely ever a melody or hook or anything.

I think I've mellowed in my criticisms of shit music of late. I like a lot of stuff that I know can be criticised for various reasons. It bothers me more when bands or musicians are hailed by their fans as entirely original when clearly they're not, but each to their own. That said, I like Lighthouse Family.
