I love this site, but I wish the format was slightly different.
When we view submissions, we always see the title first. We are told what we should be getting out of the image before we see the image. People post alot of really complex work on this site and I often wonder if I would have 'gotten' it without having seeing the title first. Also, sometimes I don't know if I would have interprited the random blobs on the shirt as donuts or birds or whatever if I didn't know that was what they were supposed to be first. I love Threadless shirts but what I DON'T love is people coming up to me and crouching down and staring at my chest while they try to puzzle WTF is going on on my shirt. I think that a good shirt design is different from a good drawing. A good t-shirt design is something a person from 5 feet away can easily understand. Well, sometimes. Most people don't pick up on what's going on in my tshirt with the one teddy bear about the smother the other teddy bear, but I love that shirt to death. When people finally notice what's going on they always love it, too. Maybe I would get that one with the kittens playing with the grenade That is kinda of similar in that it looks cute at first glace, bur then it's really wrong. Also, while I am babbling about How Rathany Thinks T Shirts SHould Be Made I will also say that if Wishless doesn't get printed I will cry. Even though I am not a good artist I hope to submit a design in a few weeks. There are many beautiful designs out there where women's bodies are used as decoration just like a flower or a seashell would be. The person is not the focus, just decoration. I want to do some designs with nakie men used in the same way. I don't seriously think i will get printed. But, I love this site and want to participate :)

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
