I have a *very* vague Southern accent, which seems to be showing up more lately. I'm an American mix, but mostly relate to Swedish, Scots-Irish and Cherokee.

I'm studying Japanese language and culture, and hoping to teach English in Japan via JET. Also, this has the side effect of making me a budding linguist.

I plan to work in translation/story editing or as a cultural liason in business. We'll see.
