When i saw the post for a cake competition I was so freaking excited!!
My friend, Hamish, is an avid baker and obsessive fan of Nigella Lawson (yeah, thats right, i referenced Living Channel) and I'm a sorta artist (I own paint) so we were all snooty and all like 'yeah...were going to kick ass'
How very wrong we were...
It started off well..We made some pancakes..as you do..


Then we made a detailed draft that included some very intense designing-mostly circles and scribbles and realised we had to make 4 CAKES!!! do you have any idea how much butter that is??! i took a photo but promptly deleted it because of how sick it was. We used 16 eggs. 16!!!!

Seems fine so far right?? WRONG!! with all the baking and eating and cleaning, (which by the way had taken over 4 hours...possibly because Dumbo and Willie Wonka was playing in the background) we were totally screwed.
