Racist?

about Usual Day at Work

I've noticed a lot of Buzz on the Blogs about this shirt being racist because the white creatures are hanging the black one.

Come on people!!!

This shirt is so COOL!

I've worn it like a DOZEN times and no one "in the real world" looked at it and asked me if I liked to hang blacks.

I think the racism is in the eyes of those you see it here.

I only see cute and funny creatures ^^

It doesn't matter if you think it's racist or not, it matters if the person who sees it thinks it's racist or not.

the black cute creature just evens out the color i think.

i think the shirt is a lot more visually appealing having the alternating colors of the people. white, blue, white as opposed to all white. the contrast helps the overall look of the shirt. sandwhiching the blue guy with the two white guys has a better effect than if there were 2 white or 2 blue guys right next to eachother. if the shirt reversed the colors (blue, white, blue) the guy in the crane would blend in with the already blue crane and a lot of the visual appeal would be lost.

I love this shirt! But i've been reluctant to buy it because I'm afraid people are going to think I'm a racist... But if no one did that to you...then I'll consider buying it :) When it's in stock, that is.

Woah this shirt being racist never even occured to me.
Ive worn mine at least ten times and everyone just says they are cute, I don't see anything racist here.
