Memories came flooding back. It was so much fun. My kids looked at what I was playing, and asked, "Why do the graphics suck so badly?" For their time, they were fantastic graphics, as anyone who grew up playing text adventures knows.

I think this shirt is brilliant, and would be a perfect way to end my King's Quest week, but unfortunately I'm not buying any more shirts until Saturday Morning Reruns gets printed. I hope it's printed soon, so that I can buy one and also this awesome new shirt by Aled!

Ok, now that I have your attention...

I took this photo in Lincoln City, OR, a few months ago, and thought it was pretty funny.

Some do-gooders don't like having an adult shop in their town, so they put up this hideous sign next door. In fact, the adult shop's sign is pretty subtle, what mostly comes across is "imagine that", and it almost looks like a comic book store or something. Most people would probably not even notice the adult shop if it wasn't for the huge PORN sign. I particularly like how the stick figure man is chasing children into the road. I'm sure the adult shop found that their business increased by 50% after the PORN protest sign went up... thanks for the free advertising.

I just got back from taking her to the vet. She's 15 years old, and she's not doing very well. The doctor did some tests to figure out what's going on with her, but he thinks it's likely kidney failure.

I feel so sad. It seems like she's been with me forever and she's such good company. she likes to hop up on my desk and get in front of the computer screen to let me know I should take a break and pet her. I love my kitty. I don't want her to be sick or get old or die.

I even feel wierd and scared typing those words out. I think my cat is dying.

I think we need to declare a moratorium on certain types of designs:

Pooping Birds
Skulls
Pandas
Paint splotches
Poop
Hearts, Suns and Clouds with smiley faces
Guns
Internal Organs (ie. lungs, hearts, stomachs and intestines)
Luchadors
Fruit with Faces
Poo-Poo
Giant Squids
Ninjas, Pirates, Yetis, and anything vs. anything
Photoshop brush abuse (especially those butterflies and scrolls)
Poo with Faces

This list is by no means exhaustive, and yes, maybe we should add barrels of monkeys.

Or perhaps Threadless should run a contest to see who can incorporate the most cliché elements into one design and actually create something fabulous out of it all? Or the most creative way to take a tired old idea and turn it around 360 degrees so you end up with the same tired old idea... I mean turn a tired old idea 180 degrees and create something unique and never-before-seen!
