I watched "The Barber of Seville" (it's an opera) and liked it.
I can have an entire conversation using nothing but movie quotes.
I know what LED stands for and what it is.
I also know the means of the acronyms: KOTOR, WOW, and C&C.
I have gone with out eating and minimal sleep for days just to finish a game.
I've read the dictionary for fun.
Going with out the Sims 2 for more than two days is, for me, a breakthrough.
I have been asked to speak english many times (and I don't know any other language).

Be sure to post proof of your geekiness (or nerdiness, whatever).

I can ususally recite any of the following shows reruns:
Spongebob
Johnny Bravo
Dexter's Laboratory
Fairly Odd Parents

As well as hold a conversation using movie quotes.
And I do math in my head every other week on what items I can buy for which costumes and still have enough to give me food for the week

Spend my life drawing stuff
Don't like sports
Don't like cars, motorbikes,...
Don't want a driving license
Get drunk couple of times every year ( maybe 4?)
Love my parents
Like old movies and old music
switched to heavy literature when I was 11

I miss Johnny Bravo. And Invader Zim.

My math teacher failed me once because my paper was covered in doodles. I'm an obsessive doodler.
Oh.. and I FAILED my drivers licence test (I don't like driving but I wasn't trying to fail) by one point.
I adore my parents too.
Old movies and music are the best. (GO GLEN MILLER! GO BACH!)
I've been reading "heavy" literature since third grade. Usually my teacher would yell at the other kids for reading comics behind their text books, but with me, she would yell at me for reading Call of the Wild (which isn't really heavy literature now that I think about it...)

I did science olympiad for 3 years in a row...

and I was good at it. (Like... 2 3rd place regional medals, 1 2nd place, 3 1st place, 2 2nd place state medals, 1 1st place state medal, and 2 scholarships)

I'm a nerd. *adjusts glasses*

Mythology rocks! I love it but haven't done any indepth research.

I wish to apologize for the first comment thing. The aliens made me do it... I was high... I had a lasp of normal brain function...

take your pick of the excuses.

"My math teacher failed me once because my paper was covered in doodles. I'm an obsessive doodler."

Weird- I would leave doodles and comments all over my math problems to explain how I was trying to get the answer.
There was even one time where me and my friend had the same answer, but I had an extra point, the only diffrence was I had left a doodle next to my answer

My math teacher was evil. I have a big family and every member of my family had had her as a math teacher. And previous family members had left her with a bad impression...

I was doomed from the start.

I got in trouble in science class for my doodles.
My teacher thought I wasn't paying attention, but I have a hard time with my mind wandering around, doodling helps me focus. :O
Also, my room is a testament to my geekdom. I collect Star Wars toys and old books.
I also have the Jurassic Park movie memorised.
If you say a line that's similar to a line of something I've heard/read, I'll probably start reciting parts of the book/movie/show/ or song.

I talk in WOW abbreviations - you know, like - BRB, WTS, WTB... I just can't help it!

I love Monty Python, was reading about spontaneous human combustion for fun the other day, collect star wars figures (unleashed are my favs), and I scrunch my face up all funny when I do my hair... god knows why but it ain't pretty!

OMG Victim! I did SciOly from basically my 6th grade year until now (I'm going to be a senior next year). Only the high school team sucks because nobody was committed.

I'm a geek because;
I love biology (we had to do notecards so that we would learn terms, and I would invariably do doodle things, often with dead animals or other things, which was fun and also allowed me to learn pretty easily)
I read Terry Pratchett whenever possible,
I've read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy several times,
I've seen the movie at least 5 times,
I do online role-playing,
it's based on Lord of the Rings,
I've written part of a Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic,
and started a zombie story,
I used "zomb" instead of omg sometimes (but that's just because
I love zombies and movies/books relating to them
I love the Matrix, no matter if the last ones are preachy (according to some),
I used to play runescape (ahhh!)
I won the school spelling bee (and would have won the regional one if they weren't douchebags)
umm, and probably a lot of other things, but I've embarrassed myself enough for one day.

hehe. Alan Lee (Saruman in LotR) has read Lord of the Rings every year since a long time ago. Every year.

I've read the Chronicles of Narnia a bunch of times too,
oh yeah, I own V for Vendetta (the graphic novel, and the movie).
And I wanted to dress up like V for Hallowe'en.

Well I haven't been on for a while but here goes:

I love Monty Python. I am able to quote much of The Holy Grail but not all of it becuase it was a recent purchase.

Sadly, I have never read a Hitch Hiker's book in it's entirity. I've been meaning to buy the books but always run out of cash because of a certain tshirt website.

I have played every Zelda game in existance (thank you pack rat family members. If it wasn't for them I'd have only played Ocarina of Time and forward.) and beaten all of the newest ones.

The matrix rawks. I followed along and understood it's story line the first time I saw it.

I have not only played Runescape but am (or was if it wasn't for my brother) a level 62.

I am a geek because:

-my favorite word is thoil.
-I've gone through several card game playing fads
-I can tell you every megaman board boss's name from megaman 1 to x5
-I can name every castlevania game that ever existed, even the ones with really big words.
-I've also beaten every zelda game that's ever existed as well as every first party nintendo game that's ever been released.
-I'm obsessed with zombies, sometimes I eat brains, just for fun.
-I can name every form of recurring transformers characters in every series.
-I purposefully bash Star Wars, Spiderman, Lord of the Rings, and anything that has a massive geek following, even though I thouroghdadgkalgyhly enjoy them serieses.
-I replayed metal gear solid mulitple times just to play the helicopter battle with liquid snake.

Uhm, I don't have too much, mainly because I"m not geeky, I'm totally cool.
