about Calling Home
His name is Paul. He's younger than me. He now lives in California. I love the little dude!
So Jake and I just got back from the Rancid show here in Chicago and it was super spectacularly awesome! I had the best time despite being sick as a dog.
But I have a rant to make. Before Rancid came out we found a pretty decent spot in the crowd. Then this super fat lady came over by her 2 sons and sister and was like pushing us out of the way. It was past the point of absurdity. She had us pushed up against the rail, and Jake and I were just like "WTF?!" and then she turned to us and said "My sister is pregnant." And then we were like super mega WTF. And I told her to get her sister off the floor and it's totally ridiculous that she is there. She told me to mind my own business and continued to push me. I don't deal well in these sort of situations. I totally flipped when Rancid came out and proceeded to thrash and pushed the bitch right back. And several words were exchanged but I didn't back down because it was totally insane that a pregnant woman was in the mosh pit and they were trying to control everyone else! They were not going to ruin my time. This pit was crazy - it was the entire floor! Jake saw some guy get elbowed in the face and spit out a tooth. I got elbowed in the mouth, but I'm tough (and I saw it coming so I was able to brace myself). So then this crazy ass woman starts putting her hands on me and just pushing me and I said "Get your fucking hands off of me bitch before I punch you!" And she stopped. But then a couple songs later she decided to butt push me. And you don't want to butt push Shondi - believe me. I let her have it and didn't deal with her the rest of the night - yay! But Jake did. He told her he'd pay her 20 bucks to get her sister off the floor. That's when she admitted it was stupid and irresponsible but she can't control her sister. People like that do not deserve children. ARGH! There is no way it is acceptable or responsible to be pregnant and on the floor of a punk concert. ARGH! We didn't see one Threadless shirt at the show. about The Killing Tree
Due to the recent controversy regarding this design, we will no longer be printing it. We have resolved the issue. Thanks to everyone who pointed out the conflict! |
My chemical engineering degree is very useful at Threadless/skinnyCorp.
