Aw, yeah nah, I didn't learn Portuguese for Anya. What I was trying to explain earlier--without saying too much or enough--was that...

I me this guy sophomore year of college. We became friends.
Junior year we dated. Then he graduated, and we broke up.

The reason? He never wanted to have kids, and I eventually do.
For two years we were apart. He got a job in Washington DC at a certain embassy, and learned Portuguese for me. (I swear he said that in those words.) He understands everything. It's astonishing. It's overwhelming. And amazing.

So now he moved back out to California. But... in Feb. through Dec. he is going abroad to teach English, in preparation for grad school.

So I guess we're taking it slow again.

*t. And he said he changed his mind about the kids thing. BUT he can't marry someone who isn't the same religion as him.

Also, I'm going to Explosions in the Sky/Smashing Pumpkins on Monday, Nov 14th is Mae and December 1st is MIA with the Cool Kids! They gotta be cool since they would be sued for false advertising right? i'm SURE they are from another country with a name like The Cool Kids. unless they are some indie fuckwads trying to be ironic. Also, the Go! Team is playing on Halloween, but i doubt ill be able to go. Third Eye Blind also just announced a show and im trying to find someone to go with me! They are one of my favorite pop acts ever, and im embarrassed how much i love them yet i REALLY wanna see them live again. It's been over ten years!
