Totally was feeling bummed today. Then spent some time with a pretty awesome person and was feeling ok. Then the bomb dropped. Got home, no one home, see that there is some mail for me. Open a envelope from Apple and cannot believe what the crap I see. Leopard, the new operating system for Macs........FOR FREE!!! No, I did not pay for it, yes I did get it and yes it is legally mine.

yeah, I got my laptop like back in January/Febuary. My older bro is like waaay into computers and told me about this Apple Developer thingy they got. At the time they had a student membership you could get, they got rid of it now, the cheapest membership is like $500 bucks, but heres the thing: you get to buy stuff from there developer online store. I got my laptop discounted almost $1000 after all the upgrades, so TOTALLY worth the couple hundred for the membership.



And apparently, unbeknownst to me, you get free OS updates.
