sorry, this shirt is the bomb, but these are NOT amoebas!!! someone should change this. they're definitely paramecia. ameobas move by.... kind of shape-shifting. they use their pseudopod.. or false foot. these are obviously paramecia.. which move by cilia. sorry, i'm a scientist.

those aren't actually cilia....just a stylistic outline.

I'm not a scientist... but even I know how ameobas move... it's called ameoboid movement. and it brings your scientific history into question just because of the grammar you used with the word paramecia. or the plural you SHOULD have used, paramecium.

hey.. "shags"... wikipeida it. google it. i'm right on both counts. it's called a pseudopod. it literally means "false foot". get it? pseudo.. false.. pod.. foot. and a paramecium is one. the plural is parameica. look it up chump.

bacteria).

The plural of pseudopod is pseudopodia too. In case anyone was interested, which obviously you are.

Let me try that again:

"or the plural you SHOULD have used, paramecium"

Paramecium would be singular, I presume, going by basic word-learnin' (eg bacterium to bacteria).

The plural of pseudopod is pseudopodia too. In case anyone was interested, which obviously you are.

Lol, I just learned this 4 months ago or so.

Despite the incorrect name, I really wish they would re-print this in my size.

To be honest I'm actually glad that I now know they're paramecia. Imagine going around all day telling everyone about the amoebas on your shirt...what an embarrassing faux pas.

So thanks! :D
