Yeah, that was on my list. Haha, sorry, my list cut off at "I [Heart] Huckabees" for some reason until I edited my post. I think that it had something to do with the

with the "less than symbol" and "number 3" that I had in there. Man, that's weird.... if you put that in a post, it deletes everything after it.

Sir Minimus, did you see The Darjeeling Limited when it was in theaters? I didn't get to... But if you did, was it good?
Puma7
Puma7 on Feb 13 '08 at 9:56pm
Rent or buy the 3 seasons of the Office, as well as the 6 or so episodes from season 4 online. You will not regret it.

casemee
casemee on Feb 13 '08 at 9:57pm
I have Requiem. Haha. But I've never seen Pi.

Book, did you watch The Fountain? It's from the same director, I believe. I didn't really get it.

I have a lot of others DVDs that I just didn't mention because although they are worthy of owning on DVD, I wouldn't say that they are worthy of my "Top Favorite Movies" list... Haha.

Another good one - Happy Gilmore...

casemee
casemee on Feb 13 '08 at 10:00pm
Well Book, don't listen to me, actually. I'll be honest... I watched The Fountain when I was wasted. So that's probably why it didn't make sense to me. But all I remember was that it was really repetitive and it was messing with me because I was like "Wait... Didn't I JUST see this scene? Huh? What?"

Haha... sooo... Maybe after you watch it, you can let me know if it actually IS good.

casemee

I don't remember if I liked it or not. Haha. The best explanation that I can give of The Fountain is that it is repetitive. That I remember.

Sir_Minimus

i couldnt make it to darj because there were no theatres around that were showing it.. but all my friends really liked it. it comes out on video the 26th and i am pumped.

i am kind of a wes anderson fanboy... or whatever.
casemee
casemee on Feb 13 '08 at 10:06pm
Haha, yeah Puma, that's why I mentioned Rainn... I know that he's a big star on The Office or whatever. And so is Steve Carell, right? He's a funny guy. Is the show quirky or full of dry humor or what? I might check it out; I've heard good things about it.

Sir, I'll probably buy the Darjeeling Limited when it comes out even though I have never seen it... But that's because I trust Wes Anderson films, so...

Honestly, my all-time favorite movie out of all of the ones listed above is probably Fight Club. Amazing movie that's actually BETTER than the book (in my opinion)... Good message, too.

Nigil, I have Sin City on DVD :)

I didn't get to see Grindhouse, though. I should check that out....

As for Crank... Jason Statham?! He is a sexy man. Haha. But I thought that it would be cheesy... And yes, for as sexy as he is, did you ever see Transporter or Transporter 2? That guy DOES do some cheesy movies, unfortunately.

Doodle-Doo -- I have Lock, Stock as well as Snatch. As for the rest of this list, I haven't seen any of those movies... Thanks for the extensive list of suggestions!!

Book, I saw Apocalypto in theaters. It was actually a very good movie... But I just don't know if I would buy it because I would REALLY have to be in the mood for it. It's pretty hard to get through at times (the ritual scene? Yeah, that's just... ridiculous....)

And there was a time that Jason Stathem did good movies.

"Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch" are two very good examples
