In conjunction with Becca's blog, I am attempting some 10 minute poems for the Bloggeraiser. In addition, JeffreyG has offered to draw up some doodles with each poem. So you get a poem and a doodle for the low, low price of $2!

So, here's the deal: donate your $2 to the Bloggeraiser Paypal at threadless.bloggerraiser[at] gmail [dot] com and post in here. Once I get verification that your money went through, I'll work my magic and post the poem I've written for you on my flickr/here.

If you want the poem to be about something specific, go ahead and suggest it and I'll do my best to deliver. You could provide a word, an animal, an idea, a time period, pretty much anything, even a poem about a walrus riding a unicycle. Or you could just suggest nothing and leave me to my own devices.

Note: "ten minutes" is an arbitrary time period and, in all fairness, it will probably take more than ten minutes to think of and write up a poem. It could take an hour, it could take a day, but I will try to stay on schedule.

Besides, there's something about "10 minute poems" that sounds intense, and I generally enjoy intensity.



I don't really want to overburden or rush Jeff right now (who already has buttload on his plate), so I'm posting the poems as I've done them. I'll update the links with Jeff's doodles whenever he gets them done.
