Well, here's me again.

- I watched Juno today. Finally. I quite enjoyed it. It is definitely one of the few movies I would be able to watch and enjoy all on my lonesome, and it was definitely the cute indie flick I expected and a little a bit more.

- So my friend suggested to me the other night that I should name my guitar, which has crossed my mind every now and again, though I have never actually pulled through with it. So here I am, wondering what to name my guitar. It is definitely female. I'm not sure why that is but my guitar has no visible penis or testicles, and far be it from me to lift up her skirt to check. Thus, my guitar is female.

- I was cooking pasta for dinner (that pasta is hitting me pretty hard right now with the sleepy stick). I was stirring the fleshy hairs of linguine in boiling water with a knife, its handle wrapped in a paper towel so as to prevent any more severe burns, my knuckles slightly burning from the sheer proximity of the bubbling water and my hand. I should really invest in a better stirring device. In any case, I was just staring at the water, watching the froth and pasta and bubbles spinning so steadily with the knife. And without any warning, I had the most intense feeling of loneliness and emptiness that I have ever felt in a long time. A really long time.

All because of that pasta. Damnation.

- I still haven't watched Juno. Ack.

- I have friend who named his guitar Elvira. Hope you think of one soon and share!

- If anything, you're probably a better cook than I am.
and the lonely bit? I hope you feel a little less lonely, I get that sometimes. Or maybe hopelessness.

you should name your guitar something that starts with a P but not Paula.

I haven't decided yet, but I will let you know.

haha! I've done that stirring dealy with short silverware too. I just try to stir really fast, take a break, then stir really fast again. I should have thought to cover my hand...

And sorry about the loneliness. I'd join you for pasta dinner if I were around.

ysy101 - Haha, the thought crossed my mind.

Kelsi - lol I'm pretty open for suggestions but why something starting with a P?

matchstick - Thanks for the suggestions! Petunia has a nice ring to it.

Steve - Is Pandita from something? It sounds oddly familiar.

Kirsten - Haha, aw thanks, Kirsten. Yeah, it doesn't help that I have to stir with silverware and that the only pot I have is really small so I can only make a little bit at a time.

What color is the guitar? Are you thinking a person name or thing name?

I'm sorry about the lonelies, they attack me once and a while too. I'm not sure a better stirrer will help though. Just attack them with your cell phone. But try not to call girls you have a thing for, that just causes more problems.

Hmm, thanks Steve. That's interesting...

My guitar is an all black acoustic Washburn, and I am probably going with a person's name rather than a thing or abstract concept.

But thanks. I've been feeling better. The "lonelies" just get me at really random points sometimes.

woo! @ culinary pains!

I'm pretty much forcing myself to become the house gourmet chef.

My dad make me make him a Panini, (keep in mind I've never made a panini before, and I'm not sure why I but I just happen to know how to make a panini sans the press) anyways, he grabs whatever stuff we have in the house (in our case, Corned Beef [GROSSEST MEAT ALIVE] and Mexican shredded cheese [wtf?]) I start making a panini and my dad starts doing his commentary, when I KNOW my dad has no idea how to cook a panini, and I'm liek 'DAD, BEQUIET' and then I end up burning the tips of my fingers becusae I wasn't paying attention and I thought ti would be smart to flip the sandwich on a hot pan...with my bare hands.

jesus christ.

We need to invent a lonelies zapper. Maybe we could lock them up in a bottle and sell them to emo kids over ebay.

Your guitar sounds pretty. It needs a pretty name. I've always liked sydney as a name, or katrina.

Hahahahahaha, wow Omair. It's okay. I still have a scar on my pinky after this time when I thought it would be smart to wipe down the stove top as I was heating up a frying a pan. It turns out that my pinky is not invulnerable to hot frying pans.

But a panini sounds pretty good about now.

lol @ sending emo kids bottles of loneliness. And I agree. She needs a pretty name.

I've never actually had a panini, they just seem so dry, I need some kind of sauceness on my sandwich. I can't just eat cheese, veggies, and/or meats, I need some kind of creamicity.

Omair: They had paninis at the dining hall last year. They were pretty good except the uber-crunchiness of the bread led to the roof of my mouth getting all cut up.

Kelsi: Ah, gotcha. I hope I don't end up naming my guitar Panini.

I am avid namer of things after Beatles songs. I suppose it might be because I was named after a Beatles song or maybe because I just really like the Beatles. Anyway, Jude is a nice name.
