In designs, I have a design I'm editing that has five colors, not including white. if I have white in the design, does it still count?

I jsut thought it might not because..well, it's white.

I've heard people talk about "vector tracing", and it sounds helpful. I just don't really know what it is, or how to use it.

Do you use a separate program for it? Or can it be used in photoshop?

is it that I score pretty much every design submitted in a week, but the ones that end up winning were ones I never even scored?


Has anyone else noticed this, or is there some sort of reason why that happens?

After looking through so many of these designs and the crtiques, I've discovered it's gonna take a really crazy-good idea to get good scores.
