Threadless shirts are great, they are truly unique. But what if they could be even more unique? Here is a brief list of some impossible shirts I would like to see

- Mirror printing
- Dynamic Scratch n Sniff
- Magic Eye
- Hologram (like Visa card bird)
- Relief Sketchable inks
- Working Etch-a-Sketch
- Shirt with working RSS feed
- Shirt made out of fog, mmm soft


What are your impossible shirts?

I think before you post your first design you should check out the design cycle for a couple weeks, it could save you from the cruel marking I give the cliché shirts.

I will mark as a one or lower any shirt of the following themes unless they are a literal outstanding concept / design / illlustration:

• skulls
• hearts
• trees
• birds
• bird skulls in a tree with broken hearts

These tired elements have all been done and are rarely printed.

Also, if the shirt is religious, hateful, tasteless or in any wise sexually geared it's getting a zero. These are shirts, and shirts are meant to be worn in public... in a society. There are enough jerks around without randoms wearing offensive shirts.

I realize it's human nature to be a better critic than artist. I'm not hating on all these cliches, but it takes more than a smattering of the trusted icons we love to make a true threadless winner that everyone can love.

I wasn't hating on my fellow community, just encouraging us all - writer included to be truly creative and love the process, not the prize.

As a human who uses the internet I have a lot of accounts all over the place. There is a growing trend to have a lot of bells and whistles in every account and Threadless is no different. It's cool, but there's no way to keep that many blogs up to date.
