Eskimokiss posted a blog about "Decay" that started a big discussion about Threadless' choice of tees to print on. I wrote a long ass post so i decided to post it separately as well over here.
Just my two cents on the subject of AA/FOTL IMO threadless probably got a lot of complaints about American Apparel because of the bizarre fit and unpredictable shrinkage. I got an AA in small from a different site and it was skin tight, I went up a size and it still makes me look like i have fat tits (i'm a skinny but barrel chested guy). Also AA shirts are also super long and too close in the armpits, they seem designed for some mens' equivalent of kate moss. They do look very good on some guys though, and the cotton is super nice. Fruit of the Loom on the other hand is closer to the actual given sizing (medium is actually medium, etc.) even though they are too long and a little rough. I think FOTL was just a compromise. I do think Threadless should look into different suppliers though because the awkward fit of FOTL prevents me from buying more shirts. I liked the supplier they had before, when the shirts still had tags and when "Follow_It" had just come out, I still have that shirt from 2.5 years ago and it's holding up great. |

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
All about me
I'm a suburban high school senior living in Bellevue, Washington, anxiously awaiting college - most likely at UW. I hold dual citizenship from being born in Israel and growing up in Scotland, and am currently going for a third passport. I love the arts (especially music), humor, and basically all forms of design and engineering, and of course, a nice meal (bonus points if i made it).
