I got my order few days ago. Actually, I got a message first, saying that I should come to a post office to take my package... There, they gave me a bill for some taxes (custom etc.), in a value of 50% of a shirts price.

So I payed my order 150% ..

What about your country ? Do you pay some stupid taxes for your Threadless shirts ?

Threadless just changed shipping to Canada, we pay taxes through the site now and DHL ships them directly to our homes without customs fees.

Actually Serbia.. Blah, there is no Yugoslavia any more.. They change names and borders here very often lately... And while countries are getting smaller, taxes are getting biger.. Banana republic as it best..

they didn't charge me in london nor in romania, but I've heard of these custom taxes from a few blogers.

How many tees did you order?

actually you may not pay taxes by rule mate, you only pay tax if the mail control decides to inspect your mail order and I think it works that way globally...

You were just unlucky :P

I ordered 6 shirts, they were ~ 80$ and I pay aditional 40$ to custom... I've got some information today, it seems that here is same as Norway, more than 30 EUR of value and you pay taxes.. That really sucks !

Here in Israel if your order is 50$ or more, you pay 15.5% customs tax

Not for my imports so far, baby. I'm in the UK - ordered about 10+ tees and wasn't asked to cough up.
