The little guy in the avatar is Dave, an American red squirrel I raised a couple of years ago. He and his brother and sister are now (hopefully) living happy lives on the west side of Ann Arbor. I do wildlife rehab in my spare time, but since my own baby was born in 2006, I've not been able to get back to it. Still love those squirrels, though!

I'm more likely to buy stuff with those animals on them, so consequently if you submit a design with one or more of the listed animals, you'll get a higher score from me. Sure, it's a lame criteria, but that's how it is. Zombies and Gojira subs get good scores from me as well because my husband likes them and I buy them for him.

I'm getting stingier about scoring because I'm not seeing a lot of designs I'd personally wear getting printed, so it's time to cut back on scoring high for "aesthetically reasonable. " If I don't want to wear it, I'm going to knock it down so the designs I *DO* want will be ever so slightly more likely to get printed.

And it's true, I have NO talent of my own, so you won't be seeing any submissions from me anytime soon. If I had artistic skills, I'd be making my own shirts and not thinking twice about this place.


Man, do I ever wish they'd reprint The Motive...or print up that Kitty Loaf shirt I want so badly. I also want to see Falling Koi, by Jemae, get printed. That design is extraordinary.
