I own three 'Girly XL' shirts from Threadless, and no two are the same size. This one was the smallest of the three - it was very tight across my bust (where the other shirts were fitted and very fitted, but not tight). The difference in size is clearly noticeable when I hold the shirts up next to one another.

I don't know if I'll be able to wear this one at all, since the other two drew up a bit in the wash - this one may be rendered unwearable by laundering.

I wish Threadless would offer XXL girly shirts - then I'd be sure that the shirts would continue to fit even if they drew up a bit (and larger women/large-busted women like tapered shirts, too).

I wound up having to give this one to my 13 year old daughter, because even washing it gently, on cold, it drew up so much I could not wear it.

oh great....i wish i'd read this BEFORE i ordered. dammit. i wear a size 12, which is not petite but not gia-normous either. yet my XL girlie t's are usually a little tight and/or short. based on what you ladies have posted, i'll prob'ly also wind up givin' this cute shirt to one of my waifish friends. _)*&$#_$#*%W%*

p.s. i agree, threadless. puuhhh-llllllllllllllease get some larger XL girlie t's. And if anyone who reads this thinks we should just order a guy's L or XL, then NOPE. they're not cut the same -- they're all baggy and boxy. I like the fitted shape of the girlie shirts, but they've gotta be a tttttiny bit bigger.

I agree. So far, I've ordered two XL girly tees and even after laundering, they fit. But I wouldn't want them to be any smaller.

i never know whether to get mens medium or large for me, the sizing seems to vary a lot, so i go for mens large now. and the size charts for kids is pretty odd too when you compare the two types of kids tee the sizing of them both if very different,

Izzy, I wear a girly XL and a men's large is nice and roomy on me. I wouldn't want to try a men's medium, because it would be too narrow through the bottom.

Im dreading getting my shirts now, after looking at the size charts a girls XL looked like the best for me. Im in the UK so american sizing always makes me sound like im massive!

Ive ordered this shirt and Im hoping it fits now, the designs are always so great that I would hate it if they didnt fit!! :(
