I don't know what to think about it. How can they explain the appearance of little sisters and big daddies in a sky city, 50+ years before they were created?

But Bioshock is Bioshock, and I'm still intrigued. And steampunk is always good.

I'm hoping they make a good Bioshock movie. Having an R rating is only a bit assuring. I just hope they get a good budget and story out of it.

This game looks awesome. Apparently it takes the Columbian Exposition 'White city' as its influence. We have to wait until 2012 for this game though!!

i've only played 1, 2 didn't really amaze me. I heard it was good, it just doesn't do anything new

Yeah that's it, pretty much. Still worth a play, and online is kinda fun. But you could rent it and beat it in 2 days, probably.

bioshock 2 isn't great. it's an ok game but it won't blow your mind like the first one.

I heard it was good, it just doesn't do anything new

yeah.

What?! Drilling some little punk splicers isn't good enough for you?! Geez! Some people I tell you.

I loved both games, and I thought Bioshock 2 was just a good as the first. However, I didn't like the online play very much at all.

i thought 1 was a lot cooler and creepier

Creepier yea, cooler... I'd have to say I disagree. I thought being Delta was awesome! And the upgraded plasmids and new weapons gave you a lot more options on how to play the game :D

This new one looks really different, but I am going to welcome it with a great big hug!

yeah i'm more excited about the differences of this one than i was about playing through Rapture again. i can't wait to see what the environments are like. i hope those bright outdoorsy colours continue through the gameplay and it's not all just more gloomy interiors.

my thoughts exactly. think I'll pop round to the shops sometime and check out 1 & 2 for PC...cheap now.

Oh yea, it is a lot more whimsical this time around, but it seems like it is still going to have that sinister air too it that bioshock was able to capture so easily. These guys are good at staying true to the art style of the game, so this should be no exception.

Leon just made me realize that the creepiness probably won't be a big thing in this new game. I'm just hoping the whole steampunk thing is integrated really well, and the spirit of that era.

the spirit of the era was what made bioshock 1 so good. all that lush art deco everywhere was awesome.

Looks so fucking awesome. Might have to spring for it. I started playing through the first one again last night.

Also, any game willing to deal with Natavism, Racism, and Deification is aces in my book.

I hope you can do co-op with another player controlling that lady, that would be cool. I like the idea of combining powers.

And totally, I just hope it is not like the multi player they release with BS2, i just did not like that at all.

I saw what they were going for but I think they should have spent more time on it.
