Goddamnit, internets.

I've been awake since 9:30am. It's now 2pm and I have still not packed ANYTHING and I am supposed to be going home today. All I've done is organised my folder of lecture notes.

I blame the internet, completely. SO. DISTRACTING.

It doesn't help that I have no suitcases, so all my stuff is going in supermarket bags...

Oh, also - Threadless is conspiring to make me spend money I don't have. :( So many great new prints! I have £13 in my bank account right now and can't remember if I have an overdraft. Submitting an unholy amount of STP pics (should have another $6 on Monday when my most recent ones go up) and cut my cart down to 3 but still can't buy the Threadlessy goodness I desire. Sigh.

What's the greatest/worst thing the internet has done for you? AND/OR share your horror stories of packing. I hate packing so much.

i moved 6 times in a period of 2 years so i understand your hatred of packing

also teh interwebs made me spend 275 on a pair of dress shoes

Dayumn, that's some persuasive interwebs. At the start of term I spent £85 on a book thanks to the seductive blandishments of the intertubes.

I have now filled up a bag of books and a bag of clothes. Still need to pack crockery and computer stuff. Will leave everything else here. Also, invited a friend over, so now I have 10 minutes to do this in! Hopefully deadlines will make me more productive!

Yeah, the Internet is totally distracting. It's gotten to the point where, when I have a paper to type up, I have to disable my Internet, turn off my wireless card, and force myself to not click on Firefox.

Oh god, same. And I try to work in a public-ish area so people can see if I'm not working. For some reason it helps.

Hmm... I now have managed to accumulate $21 of discount, but I still can't afford my cart. Sigh. Currently I have The Art of Conversation, Now Panic and Freak Out, One of These Days We'll Fly Away (gift for a friend), and I kinda want Horrorscope, Red, and Plot. Damn it.
