Hello, bloggers. I don't want to go to sleep. And I have sexy boots.

This is my attempt to get back into the blogs! I have missed some of you guys quite a lot. And FA keeps staring at me with those puppy-eyes of his and pleading for my return.

So, I suck at Christmas. I have bought chocolate for most of my friends (a couple of them are getting more expensive/thoughtful presents, as are my family) but I still had the time and money to buy myself a bunch of jewellery... and these:

In matt rather than shiny, but the matt picture is not as good. I have finally found heels I can comfortably walk in!

I figure, since I now have a real job I can splash out a bit... right?

And I'm still buying Threadless shirts guilt-free on the sale as I'm still on that coupon... today I opened a parcel and received two tentacled horrors, a stylish fox, and a musical scene with a Victorian/Decemberists vibe. Half of these are presents for people. :)

How's Christmas shopping going for all of you?

where would you wear those and what would you wear them with? i love me some big black boots, but i would have no purpose for those.

also, even though everyone is on xmas break, the blogs are really slow lately.

To gigs and goth clubs! Or just, y'know, around. Since they're terrifyingly comfortable, even though they look like instruments of torture. I can think of lots of skirts I could wear them with - two short black ruffly ones, long black traily one, shortish big puffy purple one, mid-length black flowy corduroy one... Not that I've worn short skirts in public for ages. But I will! And I could also wear them under trousers, just for the height advantage...

haha ok. i don't really have skirts and don't go to gigs or goth clubs, but it sounds like you'll get a lot of use out of them. i finally admitted to myself that i'm too tall for big black boots and donated out my last pair. i'll live vicariously through others.

I have skirts but hardly ever wear them because I don't like my legs... but clearly I only didn't like them because they were not adorned with such beautiful items of footwear. :D I go to gigs and goth nights quite a lot because in both cases I have friends who organise them locally... so there's always someone to go with! Whee.

You're lucky to be tall, though! Even these massive platforms barely get me into average size.
