SnakeMan's Before-And-After Photoblog

First of all, thanks for all the nice things you've been saying about my photos. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside... like I swallowed 37 t-shirts.

I'm a pretty average photographer and I kind of just screw around with stuff as far as post-processing goes, so I'm not doing any tutorials or anything like that. But a few of you have wanted to see what some of the originals looked like so... yeah. This blog.

So if you're interested, you can go to my Flickr stream and pick a photo and I'll throw up the original so you can compare. You can just post links or be very descriptive and then I'll put the before and after up next to each other in here.

Also, if you're a professional photographer, please turn away. Nothing to see here.

Did you shade out that guy in the foreground of the football one with the pen tool thingy, or did the levels go low enough that he was completely black after?

yeah, i feel the same way. before i bought my camera, i knew that "professional" photos were probably touched up but i didn't realize how much. kind of disappointing.
