moving on... i like wheels and i can tolerate sarge, but tom mccarthy annoys me. it's just his voice. plus he went to the mets for a year... traitor.

i really like scott franzke and larry anderson on the radio though.

i don't mind tom mccarthy, but he sounds too happy sometimes. i like when sarge goes off on random tangents that have absolutely nothing to do with what's going on, or how he takes five minutes to explain a simple play.

yeah, sarge isn't exactly the most insightful color guy in baseball. but, and i was talking about this with someone the other day, for me what broadcasters say doesn't really matter. it's all about the voice. especially when watching on tv. i can see what's happening and form my own opinions, so the broadcasters can say whatever they want. i just need them to have a good voice.

so, i can tolerate sarge because his voice makes for easy listening. mccarthy's just grates on me sometimes.

that was definitely one of the best pitching duels i've ever seen. i wouldn't have even been that upset if the reds' pitcher did throw a perfect game and won because halliday pitched so well too.

Same here. Though in the back of my mind, I was thinking, "Don't let us waste another great pitching performance". We've done that quite a few times this year already.

i'm just glad we won the series against the reds. that's really big. going for the sweep today.

would've been nice if atlanta lost, but oh well. we could possibly be in second place after today if the mets lose again.
