So the NFL is playing a game in Wembley Stadium today. How does England feel about this? Does anyone care? Is this just seen as another annoying American thing?

really?

i thought it was kind of arrogant of the NFL to go overseas. like, "hey, your sports aren't cool enough. check out ours, its way better. this is how you play REAL football."

i always assume that just about everything american is annoying to the rest of the world. except for the occasional actor, comedian or recording artist. or t-shirt company...

Bucs are going to get thrashed. The least the NFL could of done is you know send a team thats not 0-6.

But I was looking at stuff from the Globe about the Pats being over there they looked to be enjoying the opportunity.

Also I dont understand how the game will work because I'm pretty sure the pitch isnt the right size for a game of american football.

We play on grass when we play outdoors and last year we destroyed the grass because it was really wet.

also, more than half of NFL stadiums have a grass field. a number do have artificial turf though.

Australia and NZ will probably play Bledisloe cup rugby in Denver next year. Last year we went to Hong Kong and this year Japan. It's all about exposing the game to new fans. It's a good thing. The NFL even came here once.
