question for mac people +sneakpeek of new design

so i'm thinking of going over to the darkside and getting a mac.
i'm looking at the macbook because its more in my price range but i'm kind of worried about the graphics card.

I'm not into 3d or film, and dont game anymore...i just want to know if it will be okay for design

here's my upcoming design:

if i get a print i'll just get a macbookpro :)

no not a recalled mac,

i just got a lemon. and it was a powerbookg4, all the problems they had have been fixed. im the only one in my studio/year thats had problems.

I'd get an imac. You can get one for about the same price as a macbook. If you do want something portable and you can't afford a macbook pro, the macbook would be just fine most likely. You'd probably get some slowdown when working on large files or many files at the same time, but that isn't necessarily the end of the world.

I still do all my work on a 1.3 ghz g4 ibook with 512mb of ram. Its a pain a lot of the time, but I can still get the job done.

i dj now so i need portability, and i heard that a lot of imacs were getting too toasty because of the faster graphics cards in them. they dont look very breathable
