i am really craving chinese food

seriously, and I hardly ever like the stuff, but right now I have a huge craving for it. I have no ideal why I'm posting about this, but it was on my mind.

i want some General Tso's chicken

I honestly can't think of any Chinese restaurant's in my general area though, at least good one's

a shitload of Thai places though

in other news, this led me to reading the wikipedia entry for "restaurant" and it is really quite interesting

the oldest known restaurant in the world is "Ma Yu Ching's Bucket Chicken House" in Kaifeng, China which has, apparently, been around since 1153 AD

you know what I REALLY want

I want to go to one of those big Chinese buffet places, the food is always average, but there's plenty of it, they had an awesome one by where I used to live in Spokane, WA but I don't know of a place like that in Portland.

i miss living in southern California where they have Pickup Sticks which has good food and also really super awesome cream cheese wutons.

thats the thing that SUCKS about Portland, we have a lot of great places to eat but no good CHAINS up here

no pickup sticks
no chic fil a
no in n' out burger
no whataburger

shit, they don't even have a Zip's up here! all we have is Burgerville...which...with the exception of Sweet Potato Fries...sucks.
