Babysitting under the influence

Is really, really hard.

We had four different wines (the French champagne was gorgeous) at dinner, and I'm charged with entertaining five kids while the parents and their friends play cards.

The problem isn't making sure the kids stay out of trouble, but but that the "trouble" is starting to seem like great ideas.

I am currently a seventies princess with a gilded ribbon around my head.
