Best way to create halftone blends etc.
I know there are filters in both photoshop and illustrator but I find them a little frustrating. I don't use halftones much but want to experiment with them for a new idea I have.

Does anyone feel like divulging some tips and pointers on how they use and create halftones.

yeah, that's the method I've been using. It seems to be ok, but maybe I'm a perfectionist but sometimes the live trace is not a neat as I want it to be.

always make the rasterized object at actual print size if not bigger for the cleanest trace!

That's generally what I do soul, I'm sure with a little patience and experimentation I'll get to where I want to. Thanks for your help guys.
