This is a classic case of the affluent using the poor class to better themselves. Shit like this is part of the reason that the upper class feel there is a function to haveing a lower class, in this case, for humour and fashion. Anyone who has taken any sort of sociology course would know that humour like this is anything but funny because it perpetuates the gap between classes.
The ghetto isn't cute. The ghetto isn't funny. The ghetto is anything but fashionable.
This shirt makes me sick. Physically ill.
How about instead of spending some inflated price for this shirt (modeled by upper-middle class white kids) you go and donate it to your local homeless shelter.
If I saw someone wearing this shirt, I would probably call them an asshole.
