The design didn't print here because it's crap.

that site is not a voting site, but instead you submit to the girl who runs it and she decides if it will sell. all the shirts are roller derby themed!

also, scatterjohn- right next to the comment box, it says "Remember, be nice!" you should read more. and i would like to see you do better, mr. no submissions!

i really wish threadless would take that misguided phrase off because people use it anytime someone says something honest that they might disagree with or that hurts their ego, and that's the only time i see people point that pink phrase out. which is lame.

But I wasn't being mean, I was just being blunt. Given the tone of this blog's title plus the content in the first post as well as that bizarre blog about the ghetto, it seemed like you're saying that you and this design are too good for Threadless and frankly it isn't. There's already a great roller derby themed design on here and this one just doesn't compare. At any rate, you did call this site a bitch and as a pretty active member (despite my lack of submissions) that's kind of insulting. I may have been a little kinder if you'd shown us all the same courtesy.

And on the subject of reading more, maybe you should have read the part of the legal terms you agreed to when you submitted the design that said if the Design is used or reproduced for commercial purposes elsewhere, you cannot use the Threadless.com blogs to promote the Design or the company using the Design.

But anyway, I'll try to be nicer in the future.

yeah, well duchess is a total hypocrite because she just left a comment on my sub "crunk crunk" which simply read "lame lame". it's the offhand nature of the remark which i find irritating, i like being criticised it's interesting but this seems to land squarely in the middle of "mean".

actually i want to amend that, the stuff about her being a hypocrite still stand obviously, but the second bit about her being "mean" and not criticising me properly is wrong, i dont care if people want to cuss other people's work straight up, mine included, that's up to them, i'm just taking personal offense cuz her art is so tame and mine is obviously killer ^_^

I have to agree with squatterjohn, the title of your blog is screaming "Take that you threadless fools!" So, what's more adhering to the be nice advice you cited? Your down right challenge/whining that threadless wronged you, your nasty remark referring to squaterjohn's minimal submissions, or squaterjohn's remark that your design was rejected here for a reason? "Crap" is hardly a harsh description given that your design is pretty uninspired. Predictable laces spell out roller derby leading to roller skates. So, I'd say you asked for crap, given your crapolla opening line, and you got it. Cheers!

If "Roller Derby" was up for scoring I'd give it a 0 anyway. You can't complain about someone being mean when you yourself are replying "lame, lame" to someone else's design. Do you really see thousands of people wanting to wear that lame shirt? No, I didn't think so.
