Hey ladies & germs...

After we launched the new scoring system on Friday a lot of you were a little bothered by the strength of the numbers and felt that they competed graphically with the designs. To alleviate that, I went ahead and made the numbers smaller for y'all (as seen here).

Please let me know what you think, and thanks - as always - for your feedback!

- Jeffrey

It is DA BOMB DOT COM! Big numbers are excellent for the older members of threadless.

I wish I could vote on how graphically awesome the numbers looked.

Looks good. The link to the blog banners fits in nicely, though I guess that all has to do with the height of the design too.

but if you went smaller still I wouldnt complain. (I liked the way it was) but stuff has to change to stay fresh

They still look awfully big. What was wrong with the old numbers? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I like them in the single column and because of the change, the digits needed to be wider. This new size is a good compromise.

I think the old numbers fit in properly when all the designs had to be submitted as 640 x 480 (or something like that) but now the designs can be taller so there was a lot of empty space. That's my guess anyway.

Nice to see it says 'It's been printed!', instead of the balloons, that was in need of an update, and you can see the artist's other submissions too. really impressive changes.

it definitely looks better and isn't all clustered together as it was previously. the breathing room in between the letters definitely helps.

new text size works well but it still doesn't fix the fact that a lot of voters don't understand what they are really voting on. AKA giving zeros for anything they wouldn't wear, rather than just not clicking "I'd buy it"

sometimes when i load a page the green box that is supposed to be around the number shows up on the right hand side of the page, when i refresh, it appears correctly.

newgrounds had a voting system that was very clear on what 0 was and what 5 was.

i dont know if its my screen but i cant see a number differece,
only an change in position of the numbers.

also if they were changed, the green box is way too big.
im down for the a numbering change,
but what i have liked about the threadless website

is its simplicity
and the page designs almost lack of a style

this made it nice not to distract from the artwork,
its what i dont like about all other shirt voting sites,
wayy to stylized.

this bar doesnt seem to fit in with how clean and straightforward the rest of the site design is.

thanks for listening to our suggestions.
