So I'm supposed to believe that Threadless, the biggest internet shirt retailer out there, doesn't have their own quality standards.

Guys, fight all you want, but there are some of us at woot who want their standards to be halfway respectable. If you want to give us your talent, please, post away. We need your talent. But don't treat us like a kiddie pool to piss in for an easy thousand. Give us effort like you'd put into any submission. Give us work you believe in. Threadless has quality control. Woot doesn't. You take advantage of that, you'll get the horns, so to speak.

the whole "i don't want this one to win because it's not good enough so i'm going to get uptight about it" just seems silly to me. you're pointing the finger at the wrong people. jean didn't vote up his design. hundreds of woot customers who like it did. your problem shouldn't be with him or other designers who are "taking the easy way out." it should be with the people who are voting for these shirts and buying them.

sorry that the type of art you want to see is different from what joe average woot customer wants to see.
