leaving for the UAE

hey all, tomorrow i leave from jfk in new york city to go to dubai and abu dhabi!

i'm pretty excited! i'll be working for a photographer who has MS, helping her set up a few exhibitions. she is also speaking at thisconference while she is over there. i'll be gone until the end of march, but i should have internet access, so i'll be able to talk to you folks a little.

ps. this is also the reason i haven't been around much lately (trying to get work finished up before i leave)

I went this summer - my best friend lives in Abu Dhabi and i want to go back so bad, i'm going back after graduation [but that is a long time, over a year. *sigh*]. anyway, have fun!! I will live vicariously through you.

Oh wow! That is so exciting!
I was in Dubai once.
But by "in Dubai" I mean "in the Dubai airport for 9 hours"
Even that was pretty effing cool, though.
Also, are you flying United Arab Emirates Air? Best flight experience of my life. Ever.
