So after many weeks of creating apparel designs for threadless, even in between design jobs at my current studio, I'll sneakily open a design I'm working on and minimize it to return a few minutes later to change a fill, or broaden a stroke. Yes, I can finally admit it, I'm addicted to submitting art to threadless. I think I can say that I've been hoodwinked, maybe even hornswaggled:)
I'm not addicted to threadless because I just want to create art and hopefully win the prize, that may be a small part but its not what motivates me. What motivates me is this, my job is creating apparel for clothing lines and record labels. What made me happy before is that you had to gauge who you were working with, but it was only perhaps one or as many as five people. On threadless you have to appeal to millions! So I'll beat my brain thinking what would do well, talking food? a puppy handing a banana to a monkey? I don't know, but I love the challenge, and I love forcing myself to adapt to many different styles and see what does the best. I still have a lot to learn... but I'm happy with this new submission lifestyle I've fallen into. Thank you threadless! your like heroine:) But now I'm curious, what do other artists on here think? Do they like the challenge too, and what do they think about when they submit?

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
Not much I can really say about lil ol' me:) I'm just a small time artist trying to make my place in the world.
