Astral Weeks
I'm listening (really listening) to Astral Weeks for the first time. This is amazing. Any other Van the man fans?

wife and I love van morrison.

when we first met (and notably married 2 months later) i was drunk on her couch and she played "Sweet Thing." I had never heard it before and at that moment is one of the most beautiful things I had ever heard. Probably still is. She had made a pact with a friend that neither would ever marry someone who wasn't a van morrison fan.

FYI- when I saw a post titled "astral weeks" i dropped my fries.

Haha I've had Astral Weeks for months and listened to it without really paying much attention. Now I'm at work and have nothing else to do but bask in the beauty that is Astral Weeks.



starr: that's a really sweet story. When I first started dating my girlfriend, I was going to her house to pick her up. I was really nervous and this song came up on shuffle on the iPod. Seeing her get in the car with the warm sun streaming through her hair that morning is one of the most beautiful things I've experienced.
