Boston / MIT

So I might be applying for a postdoc in Boston at the MIT. Is anybody from around there? How is Boston? Should I do it? My boyfriend will probably be in Princeton which is so much further than now, but still close enough I hope.

Not sure what I'm actually trying to say..

There are a couple around the Bostons area and then others relatively close by. Post doc? Post doctorate? What is your major/profession/interest? :^o

Princeton to Boston is not awful because there's a high speed train now. I think.

Princeton to Boston wouldn't be that hard. There are really really cheap buses from Boston to NY, from $1-$20 depending on when you book.

MIT is in Cambridge, which is sort of like the more chill Boston, across the river. I've lived nearby my whole life and I love it. You should do it!

Post doc as in post doctorate.. I'm a seismolgist and will finish my PhD next week and then get my doctoral degree :)

yay, cool that there are threadless people in the area.. I will probably be there some time january/february to meet people..
