I'd never heard of Threadless.com, then one day I did a search on Macgyver (we'd been talking about him in the pub) and found this T shirt on the threadless site. I knew I had to have it, but when I tried to order it I realised it was out of stock. Obviously I requested a reprint, but then forgot all about it. Months later I get an email saying another batch has been printed so I order it straight away. A couple of weeks later I'm the envy of everyone in the pub with my own "What would Macgyver Do?" shirt. Since then I've ordered a few more T's and people over here are asking me where I get my magic T shirts from. I tell them Threadless, so I expect the UK market to increase dramatically.

I can't swear this was accurate, but I saw a news item on TV about Threadless which said they ship 30,ooo tee's a month and 40% is outside the US & Canada. I'd say a fair amount comes to the UK already.

But I like the fact that I never see anyone else with the same shirt !

Loads in Glasgow now. I used to like threadless spotting, now I'm not so sure. There are a lot of copies around too. Oh, welcome!

Hey Nasty Vinyl. I'm in London. So do you guys order from Threadless and sell on? I assume you're not selling knock-offs?

farino, I want to order a bunch of threadless tees but am worried I'm going to get hit by some massive customs duty - do you ever have that problem?

There is a HUGE market here. But last time I ordered a couple of tees I had a 'customs' charge of fucking £12! Did they check it for bombs of something?! Really frustrating :(

I live in London and have been buying from Threadless since 2006. Seen a few knock offs in Camden market. I think that they should limit the number of reprints.

I've been wanting to order some T-shirts for ages, but I'm not sure how it works with customs and that. Do any of you know whether you have to pay any fees? And how reasonable is shipping to the uk? Also can anyone tell me what to expect size wise? Are the sizes comparable to UK sizes S,M and L?

Yes, you will have to pay shipping and customs fees if you order from the US.

www.chieforiginals.com is a UK based design community and we have some great high quality, limited edition t-shirts on sale. Shipping fees are low and of course there are no customs fees.

Hey greenery what's going on with the Chief Originals blog - http://chieforiginals.com/blog. it's not set up explicitly for a bit of black hat SEO is it?
