What with my new fascination for documentaries, I saw Rock School yesterday, and Air Guitar Nation and King of Kong today.

See Air Guitar nation. It is incredibly hilarious, but also quite profound. Great characters and interviews as well.

I am looking at buying a zoom lens for my Nikon. Any recommendations if I were to go to 300mm, and preferably with VR?
I am thinking the AF-S VR Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G, does anyone have it, and have any toughts? Thanks.

The final step of my order will not load. It's killing me, I'm trying to get it in before the coupons are blocked.

In 13 hours I am leaving the country for 2 weeks. I have not even begun to pack and am basically freaking out.
I just thought I would share that.

I want to buy a camera on amazon.com because it would mean a $130 saving or so. But, because I live in Canada, they won't ship electronics to me. Instead, they recommend I try amazon.ca. However, amazon.ca is terrible, and never has what I am after.
And so, they will be loosing my sale.
