I don't know what size to order for a threadless tee because I am about to make my first purchase. I am 5'8 and 135 lbs and am debating between a medium and a large. Any suggestions?

You are definitely not a large -- I'm almost 5'10" and a decent amount heavier than you, and larges are usually pretty baggy on me. I'd say a medium, unless you've got a huge chest or prefer baggy shirts.

The medium might be pretty short on you though. Check the size chart to see if it will be long enough.

if i were you, i'd get the large. the shirts are 100% cotton, so they shrink .

Oh, that is true...but the larges and mediums I have are basically the same length, since the difference in given measurements isn't huge and each shirt is a bit different. I'm wearing a large now, and it's still a bit too short, but it also is too baggy.

And if it ends up not fitting right, unless it's about to sell out, it's really easy to exchange them.

i'm about the same (slightly shorter) and i get the large, because the mediums are too short for my torso

thanks for all your help! I think that the medium would end up being too short on me, so I'm going to order the large. I can always shrink them if they end up being to big, but I think I'd rather have them too baggy than too tight or short! :)

it's better to have a bigger shirt than take the chance of having it too short and tight.

I say go with a large.
