I think this is a testament to how insanely awesome your design is to go through this 24hr plummet and still be scoring at 3.49. But I hear what you're saying.
agreed - my design went from a 3.7 to a 2..9 overnight... and as Wharton just said, your frequent traveler design is so badass id say it took a minor hit. that thing is getting printed without a doubt
I've just been looking at Threadless Live. There are two designs which have 2,000 more votes than anything else. They both have 6 more days left. That strikes me as being weird.
Ugh, it's the eternal curse of Threadless getting more people to vote with contests like this which is a smart idea, and yet the voters are just trying to fly through submissions as fast as possible and not putting much thought into the whole thing. Amazing amount of votes, but what's it really worth when it seems like a thousand of them are just giving everything zeroes or ones?
Yeah everyone's been hit. It's nuts. But you're still going strong! Mine plummeted like a crashing stock market. LOL Hang in there you're designs rock!
Queenmob and I worked our tailfeathers off on this design the last couple weeks, and now it's ironically going up today where it'll be sideswiped by the voters, mostly I think because it's a design we purposely packed with details so people would slow down and have a little fun watching the story unfold. Sigh, we'll see what happens, we woulda saved it till next week if we woulda known this contest exists!
By the way Alva, your Frequent Passenger is still the highest scoring sub on Threadless right now :)
Yeah, we're all taking the hits on this one. I wanted to see yours break the 4.0 barrier, though! It was so close!
I sub'd my first design yesterday, a while before they announced the scoring contest, and then was just PRAYING there was a back-log so my design wouldn't go up til after this was over. I didn't get lucky, though--it went up this morning, much to my dismay, haha!
"Your movie would OBVIOUSLY, be an action movie. It'd be called "Road Viking" you'd be this tough, mysterious guy from a far away land. You enter this dusty town infested by all these outlaws and bandits that enslaved the people. But you're like 'FUCK NO' becuase it's alluded in your past your bros and family were all owned and killed by bandits. So you just start shooting dudes for no reason, after killing like 500 people to death, you're like "I need to relax" so you go and relax at the saloon where the remaining townspeople are like "thanks so much dude, how can we repay you" and you're like "you can't, you can never repay me, my vengeance is unquenching" and then you freaking EXPLODE the saloon and everyone that was in the saloon is like "holy fuck, he's intense" and you just walk away from the town like whatever, and for years and years people just tell the story of our legend, the road viking."
