the faint is amazing.

and i also would suggest lcd soundsystem, le tigre, !!!, death from above 1979 (their remixed stuff)... you might also like ratatat and the bravery.

The Faint are amazing. But V&V and kauceislost basically just said every band I was going to recommend, lol. Save Dance Disaster Movement, which are more on the experimental side.

Broken Spindles - One of the guys from The Faint's other projects.

Hot Hot Heat - There newer stuff is Faint-esque in it's poppy jangliness. Though you might want to avoid their first album, Scenes One Through Thirteen, although in my opinion that's there only decent album.
