design redo....DONE..SUBBED!!

Back in my early days all my designs were done in vector, I still do some vector stuff but most stuff I've done lately has been raster photoshop I always liked this idea but it needed a switch up. I had started this for a different contest site but I ran out of time there because I got carried away with the fur. Think woolly woolly for the summer.

Awesome, though I'm with Josh and don't dig those ultra-large halftones.

If you want the clouds you can dial up the lpi on those, baby.

i thikn its stronger with out halftones period- but i understand it helps set the mood-

hmmmm... I'm not married to anything but I was thinking the clouds and blue shirt helped with the idea he is leaping in the air. I could see maybe adjusting the hailf tone pattern on the clouds.

the linework is downright sick. i could go either way on the clouds but the thing doesn't sit right with is the shorts. they just look flat compared to the rest of the design.

I think it would be badass on seafoam with the orange being some kind of purple, and I would remove the little cloud at the bottom, I think it detracts too much from the main character, but that's only my personal taste, this is your design after all :p

so I just checked out a couple numbers here

there are 76 sub spots between my sub and the last sub that when up for voting.

there are only 23 design that were excepted out of those 23 subs.

that means that 67% of the subs are rejected in that small sampling.

Is that right? That's alot of subs that don't make.
