design redo....DONE..SUBBED!!

Back in my early days all my designs were done in vector, I still do some vector stuff but most stuff I've done lately has been raster photoshop I always liked this idea but it needed a switch up. I had started this for a different contest site but I ran out of time there because I got carried away with the fur. Think woolly woolly for the summer.

I had to take a couple days off on this thing. Got back on it tonight. I should be able to get it done over the long weekend.

I start with a scanned in pen drawing then add all the detail in photoshop, zoom in super tight and draw it bit by bit.

Yeah I'm going to play with some other colored shirts when it's all done.

I definitely don't think you need a background. If you do, I think a minimalistic approach would work. :)

i dont care for the background. with so awesome much detail in the fur, i want that printed as big as possible.

If you go with a background I think I'd lean more towards a halftoned b/w photo. The blue above makes it look more cartoony for lack of a better word and it's the contrast between the beast and the frisbee that makes this interesting.

Just big w/o a background would work just fine, though.

yeah it would be a halftone background but it would be in the general shape of one above. I think it could help show he his leapping in the air or I could go with a blue shirt and a couple clouds here and there.

and yes belekas I will be drawing the other hand and fixing the shoes that hogboy pointed out.
