after washing it in a cold cycle, then line drying, just to make sure nothing faded/peeled, I can barely see the tree, the wolf, tortoise, etc. Did anyone else find that the black faded drastically after washing?

Yes... definitely. I don't know what happened, but now you can barely see the outlines.

did you turn it inside out before you washed it?

sounds like it might be an ink problem. the same thing happened with Fahrenheit 451 and the purple ink. that's a shame :-\

Yeah, it probably doesn't help that it's on a darkish colored tee as well.

And yes, I always turn my shirts inside out when washing, it's set on a cold wash, and then I hang dry the shirts.

Yup, I'm always careful. The shirts are too pretty to mess with.

mine has faded too despite cold wash inside out and line dry which is really disappointing coz it's a great shirt. Never had a problem before.

Tumble drying is the most absurd waste of energy

tumble drying makes them softer - but yes it is pretty much a waste of energy

Same problem...inside out, cold wash, line dry, faded almost completely. I'm so sad about this. Never had any problems with my other shirts.

same problem here....cold wash, inside out and line drying. At first I thought it's because of light conditions but it didn't get better in the sun :(.... Scheiße!!!!

Same here, but I tumbled dry. I still get compliments on it though!

I just got mine (Parable Paranoia) and I haven't washed it yet. The thought that the gold might crack crossed my mind, but I never thought about fading. Now I'm scared to wash it at all. GAA!

Maybe hand wash in lingerie wash or something similarly gentle?

oh snap... i haven't washed my tee yet because i just submitted my picture but thanks for telling me!! i think what i'll be doing is dry-cleaning this tee and then storing it in a safe place. :( it's a pity that the ink fades.

dry cleaning...im curious. let us know how that goes...still, pretty ridiculous to have to resort to that.

this is the only threadless shirt ive ever had this happen to, even other dark ink on dark shirts are fine, its something about the ink on this one, and perhaps other select tee's is all.
