I just bought a Sprite because I've heard that the fizzing will clear your throat but that's probably just a myth. I'm thinking of buying some orange juice in a minute because in my head, the Vitamin C and all that will help soothe it all out.

Is there any other home remedies? I've heard of a nice Jack Daniel's/honey mix. I really don't want to get sick right now. This sucks.

Or tea with honey. Honey coats & warms the throat nicely.

Orange Juice is very acidic it will KILL your throat. I suggest hot tea with honey and lemon like everyone else.
