I just bought a Sprite because I've heard that the fizzing will clear your throat but that's probably just a myth. I'm thinking of buying some orange juice in a minute because in my head, the Vitamin C and all that will help soothe it all out.

Is there any other home remedies? I've heard of a nice Jack Daniel's/honey mix. I really don't want to get sick right now. This sucks.

Or tea with honey. Honey coats & warms the throat nicely.

Orange Juice is very acidic it will KILL your throat. I suggest hot tea with honey and lemon like everyone else.

the best thing for a sore throat is gargling with warm salt water. but i used to have to do it allllll the time when i was little so i am biased and i hate it

Ugh! Salt water sounds so nasty right now. The dentist used to make me gargle that stuff. I'm going to drink some warm tea with honey after I'm done with this Sprite.
