As said on YH: Extremely poor form to do so (use your work on the cover) and not notify you - even if it was a submission. If it wasn't a submission that's even worse.

thats just how it works with them kvack, and they wouldn't use artwork they didn't have permission to use through the submissions. I would be surprised if there wasn't a clause in their submission guidelines that allowed them to use a submission as the cover, they do it every year.

Frankly it is quite an honor and you should get yourself a copy as it will look very good in a young designer's portfolio.

and i originally drew hairwolves for semi permanent, and got such a good reaction on my flickr decided to make it a threadless sub

nice that explains it... it's a beautiful drawing, one of my friends 'Mr Ben Hobson' draws in a similar way, it's a beautiful style but i don't think he has any web presence.

i forgot about it, but thankfully remembered when i was pissed as about half an hour before the deadline and used my brothers computer to log on to threadless or deviant art or something, cut and pasted a couple of images and sent them in, i forgot i even sent them until Andrew emailed me...

haha normally i regret the things i do when i'm pissed, but here is to low res submissions and the power of the interweb!
