Hmmm...
Am I the only one who's affected by violence in movies? I saw Casino Royale this weekend. Not the most violent of movies. I loved it, it was an awesome movie, one of my favorite Bond movies, but I found myself wincing more than once because the violence was so rough. Now, I'm not saying "Oh, America's too violent....everyone should change" or anything like that...I'm just wondering if I'm as much of a wimp as I think.

if you ask me, the most violent movie I ever saw was "The Lemonalle Chronicles". I remember this one scene where she tears some dudes face off and is all like "Nice face bitch, allow me to eat it with my Cap N' Crunch"... all the while the dude's yellin "NOOO!!! My face would taste better with Crispix! it wont get soggy!"

oh man, and then there's the scene where she gets a guy trapped in an escalator. He's screaming "People wont be able to go down if I'm in the way!" And then lemonalle's like "Too bad jerkface, I just lit you on fire." So the guy starts melting and screaming "OMG! Im gonna miss the sale at Penneys!" and then she shoots a nailgun into his kneecaps and hangs pictures of her cousins on them.

i dont think that i have ever winced (actually thats a lie- I crossed my legs during casino royal while they are torturing him in that chair) but I have rolled my eyes to the same effect. like in the departed- honestly, I can only be amazed by so many shots to the head, it was ridiculous.
